Some people find that they have always been shy, unsure of themselves whether in large groups of people or when dealing with one person. Others develop a lack of confidence through things that happen in their life. For instance, having a hard during teenage years, negative comments made by work colleagues or family, it may occur after being out of the workplace for a while or due to a bad relationship or sometimes due to being in a new situation where they feel out of their depth.

Lack of confidence usually means you don't want to make a fool of yourself, you want to blend  into the background where no one can notice you. Another part of your mind is telling you to get on with it, perhaps looking enviously at those people who seem to find it so easy.

Hypnosis is a proven therapy for help overcome lack of confidence. Usually, 2 or 3 sessions would be needed for confidence building. The number of sessions is only a guide. Some people may need fewer sessions, others may need more if the issue is particularly complex or another issue needs to be dealt with.
